𝐻𝐸𝑅 𝒟𝐸𝒜𝒯𝐻 𝐼𝒩 𝐻𝐸𝒜𝒱𝐸𝒩 𝒜𝒩𝒟 𝐻𝐸𝐿𝐿

These conceptual albums are based upon the different layers of heaven and hell. They explore the intricate layers, designed to be experienced sequentially as HER DEATH IN HEAVEN followed by HER DEATH IN HELL. Loosely based upon the story from Dante’s inferno, it presents a unique take on the 9 realms, diverging from traditional biblical interpretations.

The narrative unfolds through the perspective of a woman ascending into heaven, then falling as an angel into hell. The levels of hell are represented through what a woman might experience as her own personal hell. The various levels symbolize deeply personal experiences and challenges that a person may face, derived from my own experiences and those close to me.

All sounds used in this album were recorded in Barcelona, Spain. Inspired by the historic cathedrals and gothic architecture I decided upon the concept for this album after visiting Temple of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Basílica de la Sagrada Familia, Cementiri de Montjuïc,n Barcelona Cathedral, La Seu d’Ègara, and The Monestir de Sant Cugat. The rich history of gothic architecture and historic monasteries and chapels sparked the creation of HER DEATH IN HEAVEN AND HELL.

This album was made during the R.A.R.O artist residency in Barcelona, Spain.
